Zimbabwe is full of talent. In our ongoing feature to showcase some of the most talented Zimbabwean creatives we have bumped into some amazing designers namely Baynham Goredema and Babusi Nyoni. Today we are proud to showcase work from an amazing photographer Steven Chikosi.
Steven Chikosi is a freelance photographer. At a young age he discovered he was short sighted and he claims this is what developed this interest to see more. His style of photography is to become invisible and allow his subjects to be their true selves. He goes around in between jobs and also in his free time taking photos of Zimbabwean people and places. Recently he developed an interest in mobile photography and has been taking really impressive photographs using his iPhone of the city of Harare starting a dialogue on Instagram and encouraging others to share their photographs. He came back from studying in the UK to contribute his skills to building the country. He is also into video and makes short films highlighting hard working Zimbabweans doing extraordinary things in the community.
