Google is in the process of testing out its new domain registration service called Google Domains. The service is currently in Invite-only Beta and will be going live in the near future.

Google Domains is entering  a market that is dominated by big players such as GoDaddy, Hostgator, Namecheap, to name a few. As a customer there are things to consider when buying a domain and with the amount of domain registrars available, it will boil down to individual taste, when choosing a domain registrar.

No doubt google has the muscles to carve its own segment in this well saturated market. Google domains will be offering the same services offered by other domain registrars,  so one awaits to see what distinct advantage Google Domains will be offering its customers. Google will also be offering new Top Level Domains endings such as .sexy and .guru as part of its palette of services.

We will only give our true opinion on the Google Domains service once we have tested the service.
