Henry Oliver Hakulandaba, a Zimbabwean photographer and environmental consultant is walking away $2000 richer after winning Agility’s Africa 2016 photography competition.
Henry is part of the three winners announced on the continent, the Grand Prize was won by Stephen Simiyu, who also walked away with another $2000 for his photo depicting a fisherman on his high-end laptop.
Henry photo featured the skyline of Harare, Zimbabwe at dusk.
The competition drew about 2500 photographs from 30 countries. Henry’s entry was the overall winner of the Cities category of the Africa 2016 photo competition.
The winning photographs and runners-ups were also featured at United Nations General Assembly earlier this month, and are expected to be featured on Forbes Africa, CNBC Africa and Agility’s corporate magazine.
