Zimbabwean filmmaker Daniel Lasker has produced another masterpiece short film “The Walk”. The film was shot on location in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The film according to the filmmaker made the official selection at the New York City Indie Film Awards 2017, and for good reason.
The 18-minute-long short film is actually quite entertaining, shot in a post apocalyptic world, you could really see that a lot of effort was put into the project, Daniel Lasker produced and directed the film, with the help of Nigel Ndlovu who was the assistant director and sound operator, Leisa Zevgolis was the costume designer among others.
This is probably one of the best Zimbabwean Short Films ever produced. Great stuff, there is no doubt that the quality of productions is increasing daily.
